Solid week, things are easy at the office. Here are the week’s posts: Movie Review – Captain America: The First Avenger – Cap rocks, even if the Red Skull didn’t. Old Game Tuesday – Heroes of Might and Magic – Got me playing this again (III Complete), at least until my wife plays me and… Continue reading Friday Finds – Jumping the Shark
The comic is chock full of stuff like this, but to delve a bit deeper, read this. Basically a detailed mathmatical analysis of a date in which you attempt to see the sun set twice. I did NOT study hard enough to deal with that…
Honestly, I have the same question. Is there a style guide entry for this? :) (To those of you finding this through Google: click the picture, the link will take you to Randall’s site. Read his archives!) the full saw 3d movie
You can now get an audio preview of your comment before you post it to Youtube. There was a recent xkcd comic on something similar to this, although Randall wanted a mandatory dramatic reading. Unfortunately, this will not stem the tide of idiotic Youtube comments. This might still be more useful for that. ;)
Just filling the time here until football and hockey seasons both get into full swing, I could totally see myself doing this if I were more adventurous: alt text: I THINK EVERYONE INVOLVED HERE IS CUTE. BTW, read the archives over at xkcd.com. NOW.
I know I felt like this when we first had my son (well, I didn’t want to disassemble him. I’m not so good with tools). Click on the picture to go to xkcd.com and get the alt-texty goodness. And read the archive if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?
I had this realization when I first moved out as well. Though it was for nachos, not bacon.
Randall Munroe (of xkcd infamy) and his friends have chipped in and quintupled the volume of his ball pit (previously mentioned). The blog entry comes complete with an environmentalist complaining about the ‘wastefulness’ of all the plastic. Awesome!
As usual, xkcd is right on the money.
…go for a ball pit. That’s what Randall Munroe of xkcd did. I wonder if I can convince my son this is what he wants instead of a fire truck motif for his room. ;)
