I’m a huge sports fan, which is obvious if you follow this blog or my Twitter account at all.  I also love movies.  Hollywood likes to mix these two things quite often, with questionable results.  So let’s cut through the crap – what are the best movies to represent each sport?  I’ll get nominations via twitter (HIYLJ) and create polls here to see if we can come to some sort of consensus.  We’ll start with hockey movies.

Slap Shot wins a narrow victory over Miracle (I wonder if that would be different now what with the Olympic happenings).  I’ll look to start some new polls after deadline day.
