Buffalo is visiting Atlanta tonight, a team I have a hard time thinking of anything to say about it, with the moving out of Ilya Kovalchuk. The pre-season is done, and it’s time to look ahead at the Buffalo Sabres 2009-2010 season. While many of the key faces are the same (Vanek, Roy, Pominville, Miller, Gaustad, Rivet, and so on) the rest of the changes were all made with getting tougher in mind. Well THAT was a refreshing game. Scoring from someone other than the usual suspects (hello there MacArthur and Pominville), showing some fight, winning the game without having to have an other-worldly performance by the goaltender. The energy reminded me of those first 6 or so games of the season (remember that? that was awesome), hopefully [...] NHL
