Just a reminder, voting opens tomorrow for the all-star game! Vote your favorite players in, and leave a slot there for Teppo Numminen! A vote for Teppo is a Vote for former Winnipeg Jets! I’ll have the link up tomorrow. Here’s what Sabres.com has to say:

So yeah, that’s what the new downloadable cover of Madden 09 looks like for those who care about the athlete being the right jersey on the cover of your games. But, EA Sports, where’s my new DVD label? WHAT ABOUT THAT??? Seriously, Happy Madden Day everybody. Enjoy the rash of call-offs tomorrow.

Brett Favre has been traded to the New York Jets for a conditional draft pick. Chad Pennington was said to have thrown his helmet in frustration at the news, but it wobbled through the air and fell short of actually hitting his locker by 3 yards. This is interesting for the Bills, as the Jets were probably going to be pretty easy to beat this year…still might be as the Jets’ other skill players aren’t exactly threatening. I’ll have to log in to Madden later and see if I can screen-cap Favre in the Jets colors.
edit: awww man, both Deuce of Davenport and Awful Announcing used this title. Great minds, etc.
