I don't have a problem with my character... I have a problem with him rolling dice badly and being the worst ranger EVER. :P

Did you tie Maura's rope to yourself like she offered? That's in addition to using the rope to climb down.

I didn't even see that it was offered, so although I would likely say "no" because I wasn't explicit, I'll leave it to DM's discretion.

"This should be easy..." Dariel things to himself as he descends with the others.

Crap. I've been dealing with some personal problems... I'll try to catch up on this soon.

ETA: And, as could be expected, I descended the hilly terrain with the subtlety of a lawn dart.

Here is where I fall to my death.  ::)

I've had a weird couple of days... I'm heavily involved in a D&D alternate reality game, so much so that people are questioning whether I'm an in-game character or not (see bottom of that page).

"Nothing to see here...", Dariel mutters. "He should have known better than to venture out here alone. Let's move on. Stay sharp."
#8
He's probably the last ranger that came through here. :P

"Wait..." Dariel says softly as he moves forward. "I don't want any more surprises."

And with a 4 on the die in Survival, I continue to be the WORST. RANGER. EVER.

At least with that Stealth no one will see how clueless I am.

//OOC: That's Survival, Perception and Stealth. Sorry, got tags wrong.

Dariel didn't exactly sleep comfortably... A sense of uneasiness still wandered in his mind, and he was concerned about whether the rest of the group really is ready for what's ahead. If a small pack of wolves can be such a problem, he could only imagine that the rest of the adventure may end before it even starts.

"Let's move on." He was hesitant to speak about the night before. "Hopefully we can get there before we have to spend another night in the wild."

Crikes, I forgot my character's name for a sec... :P

Give me a bit.

Dariel staggers about on his feet, almost oblivious to the pain and more concerned about the group's inability to detect the beast's presence before it was too late.

"I thought you said you've done this before," he says, glaring at Sandy.

Sorry, damn it, complicated life. Let me get back up to speed.

ETA: I don't have a way to regain hit points beyond resting.
