The door splinters inward (what did it ever do to you??) revealing what's left of the captain's cabin.  There is a large hole smashed into the side pitched towards the sea, but the Captain's desk was too wide to fit through it.  The heavy wooden desk has several drawers.  Leaning against the desk is a large footlocker.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!
