Yiki tires of sitting idle, and burst out of the trees, closing half the distance to the female who appears to be in charge.  She whirls around, and seeing Yiki, smiles wickedly.  "Look alive, boys, we got ourselves a hero!  Did you come here all by yourself?  No matter, you'll die easy enough.  To arms!"

And so it begins.  Bigsby is up first, and this might be a good time to fire up Inspire Courage.  You can move your speed and do that as a standard action.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Watching his friend charge into battle, Bigsby reaches for his lute.  Pausing only a moment to tune the instrument, he moves forwards a few paces towards the combat and begins to play with ferocity.  A battle march.  As the song increases in intensity, Bigsby raises his head proudly and begins bellowing in Orc -- a fierce tune for war.

The female takes a few steps south and kicks the frame of the tent there.  "Wake up and get out here!  You gonna let your captain take all the glory?  Stand up and fight you scurvy dogs." She reaches into a pouch at her waist and mutters a few words, and seems to be bathed in light about the torso, if only for a moment.  There's a loud rustling sound from within the tent, as if someone is hastily dressing.

The pirate on the far side of the tent let's out a loud call in the direction of the beach, then moves south.  Spotting Yiki, he fires a quick crossbow shot, but it goes wide.

Taggart is up.  Everyone can add the extra +1 to their attack and damage rolls from Bigsby's song.  It will last 5 rounds, unless you use your Standard action to continue it (but that gives up attacking).

Taggart steps out of the trees and fires an arrow at the visible pirate, but misses. (rolled a 6)

#39
Imfei runs up far enough to see the pirate captain...but is surprised when another pirate tumbles out of the tent in front of her. (both can act next round)  Another thug stumbles out of the tent to the west, scanning for targets while attempting to fasten his pants.  But it's the crossbow bolt that jabs painfully into the Elf's shoulder that takes her full attention.  Whipping around, she spots a pirate with a crossbow keeping low on top of the makeshift tower. (-4hp)

Seeing the ensuing chaos, Bigsby gingerly returns his lute to his pack and then fiercely draws his crossbow.  In a swift motion, he loads a bolt, takes aim at the nearest pirate, and fires.

Bigsby's bolt strikes the pirate in the neck, and he falls, clutching and gurgling, but only for a moment. (DEAD)

The pirate captain sees another of her men fall, and sneers.  She reaches into a pouch, and pulls out a bit of sand. "Why don't you take a nap?"  She gestures in Yiki's general direction.

Yiki needs to roll a Will saving throw (DC12 if you want to write it up yourself).  Taggart is up next.

TheTick

Taggart turns to the tower to the west and looses an arrow at the figure perched atop it.  Despite the partial cover, the arrows finds it's way into the pirate's eye socket, and he tumbles forward off of the tower, landing in the sand below with a 'thud'.

The pirate standing between Imfei and the captain slashes the Elf with a cutlass, leaving her with a nasty cut. (HIT, -4hp)

Yiki turns over, but keeps on snoring.

Imfei is up, pooka.  Taggart managed to beat the range increments AND a miss chance for partial concealment.  LUCKY.
