Yiki has not had even a moment to take stock of his situation and already rage is beginning to overwhelm him.

With a roar, he leaps up and attempts to declaw the scorpion with the only weapon he has on him: his teeth!

TheTick

The sea scorpion's shell is crushed under the force of Yiki's bite, and the monster dies.  That it's the best tasting meal he's had in months doesn't register in the enraged half-Orc's mind.  A short distance away, Bigsby stirs with a groan. (Sea Scorpion 1 is dead)

(Bigsby wakes, and can act next round.  Imfei is up, but unarmed and laying in the sand.)

Imfei scrambles for the weapons and takes her sword in hand.
How's my hair?!?

TheTick

The sea scorpion next to Taggart gives him a pinch, and the rogue wakes with a snort.  (-1hp)  Bigsby manages to shake off the cobwebs enough to dodge both pincers and the stinger of the creature by him.

Everybody's awake, but Taggart needs to get his weapons.

TheTick

Taggart, Bigsby and Imfei can go.  Imfei has no enemy near her, but can reach either sea scorpion near Bigsby or Taggart and attack this round.

I don't remember what the damage roll is if I am unarmed.

TheTick

Taggart's kick bounces harmlessly off the creature's hard carapace, and it tries to grab the rogue with it's pincer, but misses.

Bigsby struggles to his feet and, on wobbly legs, makes his way over to his weapons.

TheTick

The sea scorpion tries to jab at Bigsby, but the nimble gnome dodges it.

En garde, vermin!

TheTick

Imfei carefully lines up a swing, and drives her sword down through the creature's head, killing it.

The remaining sea scorpion attacks Taggart, who manages to dodge both pincers.  However, he never sees the stinger coming, and it jabs him painfully in the leg.  (-1hp, Fortitude save versus poison DC10: 12, not poisoned)

Yiki shakes away the last of the bewilderment. A red-tinged glance reveales where the half-orc's weapon, that wicked ax called Gormfel, lie in the sand. Yiki trots over to retrieve it, all the while using his tongue to get at the bits of crustacean remaining around his mouth.
