Gameday 2009-2010 – Sabres at Thrashers

Buffalo is visiting Atlanta tonight, a team I have a hard time thinking of anything to say about it, with the moving out of Ilya Kovalchuk.  They actually had a couple of wins coming out of the Olympic break, but have since lost 6 straight games (managing only 1 point in that time).  We’ll get to see Maxim Afinogenov and Clarke MacArthur again, which is nice I guess.

Stafford is going to stay out but could be back by the weekend.  Butler will continue to be a healthy scratch.  I will be waiting to see some changes on the power play, the small tweaks haven’t made a difference (wow, let’s move Roy to the point!  No, Connolly!  No, Roy!).
