Gameday 2009-2010 – Flyers at Sabres

They were talking about it this morning on WGR, and I agree – no more excuses.  Raffi Torres is in the lineup (on the wing with Roy and Pominville) so whatever ‘spark’ they will get from that should happen.  Things MUST improve, and the best chance to start that is tonight.  The Flyers come in of a 7-4 loss to the Panthers, after failing to improve their goaltending situation at the deadline.

Vanek will be skating with Connolly tonight, which has, at least, worked well for stretches in the past.  The best playmaker with the best goal scorer should be a no-brainer, but we’ll see.  Buffalo still trails Ottawa by one point for first in the division thanks to some losses by the Sens, but it’s up to them to take advantage.
