Slight Improvements

Watched a good portion of the Sabres/Bruins game last night, and came away slightly optimistic.  Still let the opponent jump out in front, but rallied.  Still struggling in the shootout, but had some spirited scraps.  Adam Mair (6’1″, 208 lbs) took on Milan Lucic (6’4″, 220 lbs) and managed some hard shots before taking some harder shots.  Tyler Myers had the game-tying goal, on a sweet shot as he skated between the circles.  He also blocked a shot with his neck, but was ok after the game and wants to play tomorrow.

One interesting note:  Craig Rivet was basically benched after the first last night, Mike Harrington has the numbers at the Buffalo News.  Myers had a ridiculous 28:17 TOI, and that’s with MISSING the end of the third and all of OT.
