It doesn’t sound so bad when you read it or hear it after the fact, that the Sabres fell behind 2 goals before tying it late, only to lose in the end.  But as usual, it’s the painful way that it happened, and the team that did it to them, that sucks.  Buffalo just never seemed to get things moving just right, always an inch off here and there.  Tim Connolly was great, and Tyler Myers stood up and tried to fight after Miller got run (nice no-call on the third man in grabbing Ty-Bomber’s arm before he could get a full-force punch off).  The gap is now uncomfortably close in the standings (3 points), with the Sabres having 2 really important games this weekend.
