Gameday 2009-2010 – Senators at Sabres*sigh* Here’s that team again. The Senators drop by for a visit tonight at 7 pm, at a most unwelcome time. They have gained a ton of ground on Buffalo in the past few weeks, while Buffalo has a fairly mediocre record during that stretch. You know what bugs me the most about playing Ottawa? More often than not, there’s a reason for hope. Spezza and Alfredsson are out, Heatley is traded, a bad goalie (say, when Emery was there), or whatever. But the Sabres never take advantage, other than that one magical playoff series. If this is bad quick, I may have to rewatch Caprica or something. Kaleta is out for tonight, recovering from a shot off his foot against the Penguins on Monday. Not sure yet if he will be back for the weekend, either. Miller in net, with Lalime slated for a start this weekend. edit: Sekera in for Montador as per Mike Harrington at the Buffalo News. |
