Gameday 2009-2010 – Flyers at Sabres

Philadelphia is in town tonight for a 7:30pm game at the Arena. The Flyers have been solid so far this year, 7-4-1 in the standings and tops in the league in goals per game. Even Ray Emery has been solid for them, .916 SP and a 2.42 GAA. They’ve been off since Monday. Of note, former Sabre Danny Briere is out injured, as is Simon Gagne.

Buffalo is coming off a revenge shutout of the Islanders, which I did not get to see. Grr. The flu is hitting both teams, with Sekera the latest to succumb on Buffalo. Most likely means Paetsch is in if Andrej can’t go. I may be taking my son to a movie tonight, so if I watch, I’ll be time-shifted.
