Odds and Ends

I’m working today, but for those of you who are not, have a happy holiday!

• The Kelowna Rockets fell to the Windsor Spitfires in the Memorial Cup final, 4-1. Tyler Myers was named to the all-tourney team.
• Happy Birthday, Ian McKellen. You brought two characters to life that nerds everywhere love. I only hope you are around long enough to see The Hobbit through, and maybe return to Magneto with a competent director at the helm.
• Really, Detroit and Pittsburgh again NHL?
