Boring site stuff

You wouldn’t expect a game against a pathetic last-place team to matter much, but boy do the Sabres sure need these 2 points. Buffalo clings to the 8th and final playoff spot in the east only due to a tiebreaker win over the Hurricanes. Pittsburgh finally gained a bit and sit one point [...] NHL

According to Lindy Ruff (via the Buffalo News), Patrick Lalime awoke last night with flu symptoms and did not practice today. He is questionable for tomorrow night’s game. Even worse, all the other Portland goalies are injured so there’s no one for their games this weekend so far. Practice consisted of Jhonas [...] NHL
The (hopefully brief) Patrick Lalime era begins tonight, as the Ducks visit the Sabres for a 7pm game at the Arena. Lalime was actually in net against Anaheim on the west coast swing, losing 3-2 but stopping 34 of 37 shots. He’s played well enough against the Ducks (2.4 GAA, .916 SP) so [...] Media

I wanted to get the pictures up (especially for cute kid pictures), so I’m tossing these up with little commentary. Thomas and his cousins visited the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (also in Pittsburgh) this weekend.
