Gameday – Sabres at Lightning

The Buffalo Sabres stayed in Florida and take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at 7:30 pm. Both teams are battling futility, with the Lightning only getting 2 out of 12 possible points in the past 6 games. Things are definitely not rosy for the Sabres either, with Ryan Miller getting called out by Lindy Ruff, and not taking it well. I agree with the sentiment on WGR the other day, though, that Ruff was just calling out the last guy yet to get the blame. But who knows, they could win 7-0 tonight. That’s just how the season has gone so far. No news yet that i’ve seen on who is in and out of the lineup.

edit: Actually, it looks like Nathan Gerbe might make his NHL debut tonight. Sweet! Mancari goes back to Portland.
