Teppo Numminen Signed!

I’m probably more excited about this than the rest of you, but Teppo signed another 1 year, 2.6 million dollar contract and will return to the Sabres. It’s not a big surprise, as Teppo has stated that playing with all the young whipper-snappers has reinvigorated him, and the recent Sabre press conference mentioned that the defense corps would return intact. It’s worth remembering, Numminen haters, that he was tied with Pronger at +10 for the best +/- in the playoffs…while being paired with Kalinin. He was also +17 in the regular season, and has 67 assists the past two years. He’s a solid veteran presence, makes some plays on the power play and is a good example for the youngsters.
